This petition, signed by Debre Berhan University lecturers and professors, will be delivered to the Ethiopian Civil Service Commission and the Ethiopian Ministry of Education in protest to the new JEG assignment.

On Sene 23, 2014 E.C., a letter from the Civil Service Commission to the Ethiopian Ministry of Education regarding the improved Job Evaluation and Grading (JEG) was resend to Government Universities at their respective addresses. However, this so called JEG measurement for Government University Professors does not meet our renowned service and standards; therefore, we sign this petition in protest, stating that we will never accept it because it is unworthy of our professional service.
