It has never been more important to secure and advance the US-Israel relationship. While countries throughout the Middle East struggle with chaos and authoritarianism, Israel recently swore in their most politically diverse governing coalition in their nation's history.
Israel's latest governing coalition included a diverse group of eight parties, the second most ever brought together in the Nation's history. There are two Arab cabinet members, including the second Muslim cabinet member in Israel's history.
Additionally, Israel's new government includes nine female cabinet members, the most in the nation's history. These women represent a broad set of backgrounds from serving in the second-highest post of the Israeli military, to championing LGBTQ, women's, and worker's rights. Three of these women will serve on Israel's security cabinet— the ultimate decision-making body for foreign defense and policy.
