Establishing an Ordinance for Union Township Residents to Require Gas Drilling Operations A Minimum Safe Distance Away From Homes.

Currently Gas Drilling and their operations can be as close as 500 feet from a home in Union Township. Five Hundred feet is 1/10th of a mile. It subjects us to undue risks from health concerns, noise, dirt, loss of property value and others. We, as Union Township Citizens and Taxpayers, by our signature to this petition respectfully request that this be included in the Union Township's Gas Drilling Requirements.
