Stop the layoffs in Baltimore City Public Schools and Demand for Financial Reform and Transparency for All Public Schools in the State of Maryland

As publicly stated in January of 2017, the Baltimore City Public School budget gap of almost $130,000,000 is going to cause major cuts to schools across the city. From trash pick-ups to teachers and program cuts, the Baltimore City School Board of Education is facing a very disappointing financial crisis.  As tax payers, we should be frustrated in the leadership of our city.  How dare they redirect funds that were supposed to be used for educational purposes and leave our youth in educational disarray?  Are our children not worth the investment?  Are they not the fabric of our further?  Our youth deserve quality education regardless of their family's financial status, but they are not going to get it unless we stand together and fight for them!
