More than 110 people die daily from gun violence in America. It doesn't have to be this way. Strengthening our laws on background checks can make our communities safer.
Right now, federal law requires background checks for all gun sales by licensed gun dealers, but it does not require background checks for guns sold by unlicensed sellers, like non-dealers who sell guns online or at gun shows.
Without swift changes to our nation's laws, the gun violence crisis could get even deadlier. With Gun Sense Majorities in both chambers of Congress and a Gun Sense Champion in the White House, now is the time to act!
