In an effort to end the violence and discrimination that the LGBT community faces on a daily basis, the United Nations recently approved a resolution that condemns discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation.
Everyone deserves the right to live a happy and healthy life, but many gay and lesbian people face discrimination, isolation and even abuse everyday and the perpetrators often go unpunished.
For the first time, the United Nations is taking a stand for the LGBT community and letting the world know that discrimination must end now by passing this historic resolution.
Join us in thanking the U.N. for speaking out against these obvious abuses and working to protect everyone equally.
The LGBT community faces discrimination and abuse on a daily basis, but thanks to the historic resolution recently passed by the U.N., we can begin to work towards a world where no one has to live in fear because of their sexual orientation.
