STOP SELLING PEOPLES DETAILS TO COMPANIES TO PREVENT SCAMS OF VULNERABLE PEOPLE. TO PREVENT SUCKERS LISTS BEING FORMED

I demand the GOVERNMENT bans the selling of people's details onto Companies. Vulnerable people are being contacted via telephone by scammers. THEIR NAMES GO ON SUCKERS LISTS. Personally I have had to recover monies on behalf of my Mum where she has been sold useless expensive items. I managed to prevent the last caller when they obviously heard me telling my Mum not to give her credit card details out over the phone - the caller hung up. We reported the Company to the official Company the caller stated he was calling from and the telephone operator said that by the scammer using the same name of the official Company, they were losing customers by these people and said they will investigate this further. Why is this being allowed to happen?
