If you want people to get outside, you need to give them a fun, beautiful place to go. For so many children and families, that place is a park. Parks boost local economies, protect the environment and connect communities in ways that classrooms and living rooms just can't match.

When you pave over green open spaces, you lose so much more than just a park. You lose neighborhood basketball games and children playing on swing sets. You lose the everyday social and recreational experiences that are a vital part of living a full, healthy life.
