The Triple Creek Directional Project is slated to begin mobilization for construction as soon as their Use by Special Review has been approved by the City of Greeley and the Colorado Oil and Gas Commission (COGCC). These two approval meetings are to be publicly held on November 18 and December 8, 2015.  This large industrial facility is to be placed in a large pasture in western Greeley, CO which is completely bounded by residential neighborhoods. The affected residents have many concerns, including the following:

Concern for Air and Water Quality. Potential causes include the emission of hazardous air pollutants and volatile organic compounds.

Concern for Noise. Sources include drilling activities and the movement of large trucks which will reach as many as 100 round trips per day during a projected 72-day period.

Concern for drilling vibration and earth tremors and the potential damage to foundations and infrastructure caused by the drilling and fracking operations.

Concern for the Visual Impact on potential home buyers and a Decline in Property Values.

Concerns for Fires and Explosions.
