Demand that the ‘Press’ / Media, are held accountable for the repercussions of their incessant hounding!

Caroline Flack is the latest person to have committed suicide that has had an association with the program ‘Love Island’. First, there was Sophie Gradon (32) in June 2018. Second, was Mike Thalassitis (26) in March 2019.
They didn’t take their own lives because of the ‘Show’. They took their own lives because of the incessant hounding of the ‘Press’, Media and the ‘Trolls’ on Social Media. This phenomenon, is not just associated with ‘Love Island’. A quick internet search, shows that there are dozens of people, all over the world, that have taken their own lives because of the incessant hounding of the Press / Media and online’Trolls’. Look at the steps the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken because of the Press / Media... and still they are hounded by the Press and ‘Paps’.
It’s about time a ‘leash’ was put on the Press... They have taken ‘Freedom of the press’ too far. Legal restraints and restrictions need to be put in place, to stop this from happening. And the Press / Media and ‘Trolls’ held accountable for the repercussions of their actions and words.
