But, right now, thousands of child amputees are facing devastating challenge: they are being denied the critical rehabilitation support they need due to strict rules on goods entering Gaza.
No child should have to endure this. This is why we have created this petition to demand unrestricted access to aid.
Our teams are saying critical prosthetic materials are running low and essential materials to make prosthetic limbs, including liners and other components, are in short supply due to the ongoing restrictions by Israeli Authorities.
Since February 2025, Humanity & Inclusion have been prevented by the Israeli Authorities from bringing humanitarian supplies, including prosthetics, into Gaza. The situation is so bad that in some cases, amputees are making makeshift prosthetics with whatever they can find. Unfortunately, these improvised solutions can cause serious harm, making recovery more challenging.
The situation is especially difficult for children, who require ongoing adjustments to prosthetics as they grow, making ongoing access to materials and care absolutely essential.
