Help break the cycle of poverty!

Imagine having to walk miles every day to get water for your family. Imagine having to drop out of school at a young age to take a full time job. Imagine knowing that a good education is the only way to create a better life, but having to drop out of school and work so your family doesn't go hungry.

For too many children around the world, this is a daily reality. Worse still, the lack of education, access to health care, and basic human rights locks families and communities in a cycle of poverty that traps their children and their children's children.

There is hope though. Plan Canada is working to bring clean water, basic health care, and access to education to families around the world, and in the process they are breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a cycle of progress instead.

When a child breaks out of the cycle of poverty she betters her own life, and the lives of her family and community.
