When funding stalls, labs close, promising trials stop, and top scientists leave the field. These sweeping reductions can adversely affect cancer research, patient care, and the quality of life of cancer survivors.

Uncertainty also delays the development of new treatments and leaves millions of patients waiting for cures. Cancer doesn't pause for government budget debates, and our scientific research funding shouldn't either.
