Stop the Trump Administration’s Dangerous Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Export Expansion

The Trump administration is fast-tracking the expansion of liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports, threatening our climate, economy, and communities. 

LNG is a climate disaster: "Natural" gas is methane, which is 80x more warming than CO2, and LNG requires massive energy to freeze, transport, and process it.

These exports force American families and businesses to compete with overseas buyers for our own energy resources, driving up electricity and heating costs at home. Meanwhile, LNG facilities disproportionately harm communities of color and low-income neighborhoods, exposing residents to toxic pollution and health risks.

The administration's plan pads Big Oil's pockets while sacrificing the health of our communities and our environment. Congress has the power to block this dangerous agenda, but they need to hear from constituents now.

The fossil fuel industry has enormous lobbying power, but together we can demand that lawmakers prioritize our health, climate, and economic well-being over corporate profits.
