50% of energy from renewables by 2025

"We the undersigned do believe that it is in the best interest of the US to make an effort to move towards a renewable energy economy as soon as possible. That being said we do believe that the US should make it it's goal to get AT LEAST 50% of its energy from renewable sources by the year 2025. These sources include, but are not necessarily limited to, hydro kinetic energy sources (oceanic tidal and wave), wind sources (both on land and offshore), solar sources (both photovoltaic and thermal), biomass and/or cellulose sources, and geothermal sources.
