End Columbus Day

We, the undersigned, request that the United States of America recognize that Christopher Columbus was not the first to discover the Americas and put and end to the celebration of Columbus Day or at least rename it to recognize the truth of history.

We sincerely request that Congress recognize that Christopher Columbus was not the first person to find North America. With this recognition we ask that Columbus Day be officially removed from the list of national holidays.
