I support Bloomberg Terminals for the Library

Are there people in the group who would like to use financial data products such as Bloomberg or Reuters?

It was confirmed today by the SBS Library that we do not have access to these so-much-needed products...the only financial data/analytics application that is available is Capital IQ...which is pretty much useless when it comes to current global financial data and news.

I have worked for Bloomberg LP and I know that Universities get Bloomberg terminals for free...Reuters also provides free data/analytics products to Universities...I personally feel very much isolated from the markets by not having real-time financial and regulatory data/analytics..... and am going to write to the MBA administration to ask for a solution.

Is there anyone in the group who will support me in this? We may have to collect signatures.....
