Break the barrier! fight racism with solidarity, help me stop it, sign the petition..

Racism, by its perhaps simplest definition, is prejudice and discrimination based on race.

One with racist beliefs might hate certain groups of people according to
their race (i.e., bigotry), or in the case of institutional racism, certain racial
groups may be denied rights or benefits.

Racism inherently starts with the assumption that there are taxonomic differences between different groups of people.

Without this assumption, prejudices against different peoples would be categorized as being prejudices related to national or regional origin, religion, occupation, social status or some other distinction.  
It's not right to be denied for the colour of your skin or the texture of your
outfit, it's not right to be denied of your educational rights for being what
you are, it's not right to be treated as a social outcast.


Facts
*The nationalism based wars of Europe resulted in World War I (1914-1918). Over 8 million were killed and over 21 million wounded.

*World War II (1939-1945) killed 52 million worldwide.

*The income of 2.1 million African-American families (26 percent) was below the poverty level.

*Between 1975 and 1997, African-Americans had the highest unemployment rate.

*Israel's Zionism expelled Palestinians from their land (1948). Palestinians still constitute the largest refugee population of the world.

*Iran-Iraq war of the 1980's was a nationalistic war which killed 1 million people.

*. 1992-1995-the genocide of Bosnians at the hands of Serb nationalism resulted in 200, 000 killed 2 million refugees.

*1997-1999- expulsion of approximately one million Albanian Kosovars from Kosova.



We the undersigned petition request the governments to make an act against racism. And not to ease sanctions to those who commit it..
