Facebook needs to take down all "Rape Like" pages and groups!
Facebook has many pages and groups which promote rape and make jokes about it. As survivors, friends, and family of survivors, we are not amused. In fact, we find it disgusting and have asked for them to be removed.
With titles like "It's not rape if you like it," and "Screwing your girlfriend while she's asleep," and "Life is like rape, it's horrible but you might as well try to enjoy it," these pages promote brutality against women, men, transgendered, and interesexed people alike.
Facebook needs to remove these pages so that ignorant and mentally unstable individuals aren't encouraged to act out on their depraved feelings and urges. These people need help--not a public forum to spout their dispicable jokes and stories.
Please stand with us to insist Facebook take these pages down!

We the undersigned, are asking you to remove all "Rape Like" pages from Facebook. We have complied with Facebook's policies by reporting them and emailing you feedback, yet many still stand---one even has 616 members! These pages promote and encourage rape and sexual assault and in leaving them up, we feel that you are condoning these horrific crimes.
Please have some compassion and realize that these groups and pages are damaging to those of us who have suffered the severe emotional, mental, and physical effects of sexual assault. By refusing to allow this activity to exist on your site, you could be saving countless people from being victimized.
