Petition for SimCity 5

This petition is for fans of the SimCity franchise who would like Electronic Arts and franchise creator, Will Wright to begin development on a fifth installment in the SimCity series.

As well as being a great game, SimCity has acted as the catalyst to inspire many to venture into the fields of Urban Design, Civil Engineering, and Architecture. So in order keep momentum, it only seems necessary for a new chapter in the SimCity series be put into development.

Here a few feature's fans all over have suggested:

This petition is an effort of avid SimCity fans across the world to encourage Electronic Arts and the franchise creator, Will Wright, to release a true successor to SimCity 4. It is quite understandable if SimCity Societies was developed for those new to the franchise, but the game neglected to give veterans of the series any of the elements found in SimCity 4 and it's predecessors.

Provided EA takes our petition seriously, we the gamers ask that if made, the next adaptation of SimCity include the following features:

  • Improved Graphics
  • Ease of game play for those new to inexperienced to the franchise
    • - Adviser to help new gamers build dream city from scratch
