Stop the Iditarod

Please sign this petition to stop the Iditarod. Even though the race is "tradition" as some say, I want to stop it. The dogs work year after year on the dangerous course until "retirement", and then new dogs start. So... STOP THE IDITAROD!!!

In almost all the Iditarod races, atleast ONE dog has died.
One year, 107 deaths were reported.

Also, winners (mushers) get paid, which is also why many participate.

The mushers also have up to 200 dogs in a kennel. The worst is that the kennels aren't inspected and many dogs are treated cruely.
