New Zealand's annual drowning toll is one of the worst in the developed world, yet still so many New Zealanders do not learn how to swim.
We live in a beautiful country surrounded by water, but so many New Zealanders cannot enjoy the water as they lack basic water skills.
Yet, swimming lessons are so expensive, many families cannot afford to send their children to learn these very skills that could one day save their lives.
By signing this petition you agree that there should be a subsidy to help cover initial swimming lessons, so that every New Zealander can learn basic swimming skills.
