Increase sentence range for child sex crimes by 11 years for the various categories of child sex crimes.
Add an additional 11 years when the offender used alcohol on the child victim
Mandate that victims receive a copy of their rights at the onset of the criminal justice process and provide their signature on a "sign-off" sheet to acknowledge receipt of said rights.
The effects on child victims last a lifetime. Therefore commensurate and substantial sentences should be imposed. Jasmine's Law moves sentencing, the protection of children, and the enforcement of crime victims' rights in that direction.
