TURKEY! STOP THE CRUELTY! BOZHOYUK KILLED ALL STRAYS!

MURDERERS : BOZH0YUK MUNICIPALITY BANNED ALL STRAYS

The Animal Welfare Law in Turkey is set out in ANIMAL PROTECTION BILL LAW no . 5199.STRAYS ARE UNDER THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MUNICIPALITIES:

The poisoning and shooting of stray animals are in fashion in Turkey!This appears to be organised killing by the authorities in lieu of proper trap neuter and return programs as specified in the legislation. The authorities who are charged with enforcing animal protection under the act are doing the exact opposite.

On 15 May 2011 in the Bozhoyuk Municipality, most of the stray animals are killed by Bozhoyuk Municipality workers. Hundreds of dead dogs were put in a municipality truck and thrown the garbage. 2 weeks ago same type of murder happened in Tekirdag /Buyuk Yoncali.

GOVERNMENT DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINTS, MUNICIPALITY ANIMAL CRUELTY CASES! AND ALSO TURKISH GOVERNMENT DO NOT RE BUILD THE ANIMAL PROTECTION LAW. GOVERMENT DO NOT SEE ANY CRIMES AGAINST ANIMALS SUCH AS RAPE, TORTURE, CRUELTY & MURDERS. PRESENT LAW DO NOT COVER THE CRIME PENALTIES AS A SERIOUS CRIME.

Animal Welfare Law in Turkey is not well developed. There is a long way to go. Turkey wants to join the European Union but is not ready. They have the legislation but the country lacks the will to enforce it.

PLEASE REMIND TURKEY, JUST STOP IT, AND CHANGE THE LAW AND PROTECT ALL STRAYS. THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO ENTER EU COUNTRIES BY KILLING VOICELESS STRAYS IN VAIN.
