It comes as a surprise that this question is even being asked. Of course in our free country there should be freedom to CHOOSE- not force. I came from NYC and my county was run by the Mafia and they did not give us a choice. The city counsel the trash companies, all were owned and operated by one strong armed group. The only way to preserve our freedoms is to have a choice and to ALWAYS have a choice as to who we want and who we don't want. If I am behind Defenbaugh trucks while I drive to work I know I will  find them filthy, belching black smoke and dirt into the air, rusting, dripping and swaying from side to side - lane to lane. It does not appear to me that this should be the company handling my trash. I do not see pride in ownership I see disregard for our community. I am sorry, give me a choice and let us determine who will best service our needs and do not force one company down our throats. This is America after all.
