What is happening to our country?

Gas prices are so high now people cannot even get to work.
People have to give blood to fill up their tanks to get to work.
Food prices are climbing everyday, and who is doing anything to stop this out of control situation?
Energy prices are skyrocketing and American's are helpless.
People are being kicked out of their homes and have no-where to go, why isn't anyone doing anything to stop these companies from taking homes away from families? 
People are predicting that gas prices are going to hit an all time high by August $12.00 dollars a gallon, and yet minimum wage is still $5.25 an hour.
If we cannot afford the price of gas at $4.00 a gallon, how in the world are we going to afford 12?
We have a major crisis going on here and yet no-one is stopping it or attempting to stop it why?
What is going on?
There are rumors of why this is all happening, and just like other disaster's of the past, nothing was ever done to control the situation, again why?
People in the White House are literally getting away with murder, and yet everyone just stands around and does nothing, and watch George at ease smiling away.
There have been some really terrible actions played out by the White House, acts that have gone unattended. If any American citizen would to try and attempt those actions, they would have been imprisoned for life, yet people walk around freely smiling without any penalties, what is going on?
I want answers, and I want signitures from people who have the same concerns as myself, my family and all my friends and work associates. We need the American people to act on this corrupt government and act now, before more people and their families starve to death, lets help our people stand on their feet again.
P.S. I have witnessed people literally crying at the gas pumps not knowing what to do, or how to get the gas they need to make the money to support their families. I am a babyboomer, and that was the first time in my life I have ever seen anything so heartbreaking.
