Demand to Regulate Factory Farming

Factory Farms account for over 90% of the United States farms. Factory farms produce majority of the animal products we buy in stores, which is driving the unemployment rate in rural areas up. They use unethical and unsanitary methods that leave harmful substances in our food, ultimately impacting our overall health. Factory farms are also impacting the health of our planet with their abundance of air and water contamination due to the waste produced on these farms. This petition is to encourage legislators to put regulations in place for these farms so that these animals are treated ethically and humanely throughout their lives while also guaranteeing our food has a more natural production without the added chemicals and hormones added to help quick, cheap production.
