AOC has raised nearly $5 million for Texans in need – and then flew to Texas to help distribute emergency supplies, and raising awareness by visiting food centers and water delivery sites.

And President Biden has also been quick to respond, declaring a state of emergency in Texas, and issuing Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funding, to provide temporary housing, infrastructure repairs, loans and more to affected families and businesses alike. Biden also sent power generators, fuel, water, and blankets.
The days of disgraced ex-President Trump jovially tossing paper towels into crowds of devastated survivors is behind us...but today's Republicans have stepped up to fill his unsympathetic void. Thankfully, Democrats are stepping up.
