Walking Dead Shouldn't Film in Georgia Due to Anti-LGBTQ Policies

The state of Georgia just passed a bill making it legal for adoption agencies to ban gays and lesbians from adopting children. Georgia is also where many television series and movies are filmed, including the popular show The Walking Dead. As a member of the LGBTQ community and a Georgia resident, I think The Walking Dead should choose to film elsewhere to show their disapproval of this awful bill.

Sign my petition if you want to see The Walking Dead use their economic power in the state of Georgia to protest the new bill making it legal for adoption agencies to discriminate against the LGBTQ community.

The Walking Dead is on it's 8th season, it is extremely popular and provides jobs to many people in the state of Georgia. But no doubt they have folks working for them that are part of the LGBTQ community. If only to protect their employees from discrimination, TWD should choose another filming site.

Georgia is a wonderful state, but we have to demand the biggest economic players here stand up for the rights of the LGBTQ community. It's completely wrong for an agency to be able to discriminate against my community in this way.

That's why I'm asking TWD to use their power and leave the state if this bill is enacted. Please join me.
