Demand an end to greedy airlines intentionally overbooking flights

Airlines operating from UK airports are overbooking flights intentionally, resulting in thousands of passengers being denied boarding each year.

A shock report from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has stated that around 500,000 passengers are not being let onto their booked flight. The report says: ''The main reasons airlines denied boarding were due to overbooking or having to bring in a smaller aircraft than planned to operate a flight.''

This month, a couple was even boarded fully BEFORE being ejected by Easyjet. A four-day delay before the next possible flight meant they had to cancel their entire non-refundable holiday. They described the experience as ''incredibly humiliating''.

Together we can stand up for consumer rights and say NO to thousands of people each year having their plans needlessly disrupted.

It's time for the UK government to crack down on the mistreatment of airline passengers. Please sign this petition to demand that airlines that operate from the UK are banned from deliberate overbooking.

Greg Clark MP, The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

Thousands of airline passengers with valid tickets are being denied boarding each year as a result of deliberate overbooking by airlines operating from the UK.

It's time for the UK goverment to protect consumers by banning deliberate overbooking.
