Fitawrari Mokonnen Dori, an Ethiopian exile who lives in the United States is the true son of Ethiopia.Fitawrari contributed and served his country well in three different Ethiopian governments in different capacities—as an educator, school administrator, actor, play writer, director, governor, historian, elected house of representatives and assistant communication's minister of Ethiopia. During Meles Zenawi's government, Fitawrari was falsely accused of a crime that he did not commit and was jailed and served for 10 years, two months and 28 days. His alleged crime, he stood up for people's freedom and preached peace, and unity, contrary to Melse Zenawi's dictator regime who stood for his evil dived and rule policy. He was charged with fabricated crime for speaking out and expressing his beliefs that ethnic based politics were jeopardizing-peace and unity among the Ethiopian people who had lived together peacefully over three to five thousand years. Fitawrari Mekonnen Dori stood his ground, never backs down from speaking the truth, he speaks for disfranchised Ethiopian people. He believes peace and reconciliation the way to bring a lasting peace. During Melse Zenawi's regime and there after People who had advocated peace were victimized, jailed, and tortured. Now, with the help of its sons and daughters, peace loving People prevailed, Ethiopian people started breathing peace, and are witnessing justice, individuals who abused human rights were corrupted are brought to justice. Peace loving people of the world mesmerized by the Ethiopian prime minister Dr. Abiy's leadership. Friends of Ethiopia are sending wishes to Ethiopia for a lasting peace. And they ask the Ethiopian government fairness to extend its arms and invite its beloved sons and daughters including Fitawrari Mekonnen Dori to drop his falsely charged while he was abroad. The charge brought against him was deliberately discourage  him from going back to his country that he loves dearly. He was targeted because he preached peace. Family and friends are asking all peace loving people of Ethiopia and the world to support and help Fitawrari Mekonnen Dori gain his freedom.
