Do Not Use Dogs for Testing and Research

There is allegedly an issue with the National Institute of Health (NIH) using dogs for testing and research at their facility after they had purchased 15 animals.  The intention was for them to use these dogs for a research project that was to be held at the Ohio State University (OSU). However, the NIH has rules specifying that they would no longer allow the use of grants to buy Class B animals for testing and research effective in 2014.

Class B animals come from shelters and various other facilities.  OSU received funding to purchase Class B dogs for the purpose of research and testing.  The Beagle Freedom Project is in protest of these procedures and are looking for help in banning these practices.

Help us in our efforts to encourage the NIH and OSU from purchasing and using dogs in their testing, experiments and research by signing and sharing this petition. We need to make our voices heard in favor of these precious animals.

Ohio National Institute of Health, Dr. Bernadine Healy – We urgently ask you not to purchase and use dogs of any type in your facilities for the purpose of testing, research and experiments.  Be a voice for these creatures and protect the animals from such practices.
