By signing this petition I am not in anyway supporting or condemning abortion. My signature is only being provided to enforce women/female children be supported properly.
In a state where females have no control over their own bodies we demand child support during pregnancy! Women/female children who will be forced to carry a fetus for 9 months after a rape, incest or simply a mishap should not suffer a penny of financial burden. Gov. Greg Abbott has mandated the fetus is a person at the moment of detection of a heartbeat and therefore should be carried to delivery; therefore child support from the male/state should also begin at that time. Women/female children have higher expenses during a pregnancy to include prenatal vitamins and other medications, special foods, doctor appointments. sonograms, clothing, and needs for baby once it arrives. If the person who impregnated the woman/female child is not located then it is the states obligation to step up and pay the child support and medical support. Additionally, the state should be prepared to pay for counseling for the woman/female child if requested during and after her pregnancy begins and as long as needed afterwards.
When a state leader mandates a law for a woman/female child they must understand they have obligations to that woman/female child!
