Create an Animal Abuse Registry for the State of Minnesota

Currently the state of Minnesota does not have a Bill established to develop a registry for people convicted of animal abuse or neglect under the law. This is a petition to gain awareness for the need to have such a registry and get a bill introduced to make this a state law. It has been overwhelmingly proven that people who intentionally hurt animals are more likely to commit or have committed violent crimes against people. 88% of animals who live with people who are victims of domestic abuse are also victims of violence.
