1000's of Owls and Cats are dieing needlessly because many people are still using mouse poison to kill unwanted mice and rats to stop them from getting into our house. There are more humane ways of getting rid of mice and rats then by poisoning them, and by signing this petition we are one step closer in saving one, or many more lives of these animals, that are just trying to find food.
Did you know it takes up to 14 days after eating poison for a mouse or rat to die. That is enough time to be grabbed up by an Owl,a Cat, and even in some cases a Dog.
Please stop using mouse poison. I am looking for 100,000 signatures from across Canada. With 100,000 Canadian signatures I will be taking it the various stores such as Wal-Mart Canada, Canadian Tire, and retail chains, and asking them to remove Mouse and Rat Poison from their shelves to save the lives of many Owls, Cats, Dogs, and other animals that prey on mice.
