Please tell Holmdel township to allow farm animals to be allowed as backyard pets!

Holmdel Township requires at least 5 acres of land for animals such as goats, sheep, pigs, and many other small farm animals. All of these animals do not require 5 acres of space! For example, a sutiable home for a pygmy goats is around 15-20 square feet. Many other towns allow these animals to be pets, but there are restrictions. For example some towns allow you to keep goats in a residential area as long as the goats are not being used for meat or milk prodcution, or used for selling their wool. Many other towns have a restriction that you are allowed a limited amount of a certain farm animals to keep as pets. For example, a very popular rule is that residential areas are allowed to have only 3 pygmy goats. Most towns allow farm animals to be kept as pets in residential areas, of coarse with restrictions, but Holmdel Township does'nt allow any farm animals in residential areas. Goats, sheep, and pigs all act as great backyard pets and companions. Please sign this petition so we can allow our barnyard friends to live with us in residential areas.
