Stop cursing on TV

TV has gotten awful with cursing. Some channels, like Lifetime for example, have allowed not only curse words, which are bad enough, but using the "F" word and "G.D." (using God's name in vain).  In my opinion this is just awful.  How can this be allowed on TV?

I don't like hearing these words myself and would not think anyone would want their children or grandchildren hearing them.

There are plenty of TV shows and movies that do not have any ugly words in them at all and are just as enjoyable, actually I have enjoyed them more.
