Trees are very helpful to us human beings. They serve as our shelter, our shade, our provider and our protection. As the "Lungs of the Earth", it protects us from heat-trapping carbon dioxide and gives us oxygen for us to live. They are really wonderful and God-given resources to us. But many people don't appreciate this wonderful gift.
Deforestation is rampant nowadays. Many people cut down trees to use the land for agriculture, pastures and factories. And as a result, many different types of floral, fauna and animal species become extinct because of this situation leading to less opportunities in discovering these species, more floods in the Earth, increased temperature, and the likes.
As inhabitants in this planet, we have a duty - a responsibility to put a stop to this occurring dilemma. But the question is, "How can we help?" An answer to that question is, you can sign this petition addressed to Greenpeace.
In this simple way, we can help in putting a stop in deforestation. This simple movement can really result to something big if we just cooperate in saving our forests.
