national color guard day

i am making a petition to allow color guard its own national holiday.
Many people know what a marching band is but who are the people that spin flags and twirl around? That is the color guard and they do way more than that. They pour their hearts, souls, blood, sweat, and tears into every performance and even practice. They toss 6 feet metal poles into the air and catch them. They catch heavy wooden rifles and long metal heavy sabers. They dance and leap and everything they do is so much harder than it looks. I know this first hand experience, I am in the color guard for my school and I know that all of this is more than true. I've been at it for 3 years now and it's changed my life forever; to new friends, life long skills, and an activity I can actually get out of the house to do. Best thing that's happened to me, and it could be the best that's happened to you as well.
