As some of you know, working at "slower" clinics you are often having to work alone. Although there are times when there are not not as many patients, there are times when you have two patients in the back, one needs a steroid injection and breathing treatment. The other needs a UA and full panel. Meanwhile the phone is ringing, you have a patient in the lobby you need to register still and another patient is walking in with her two small children. On top of that you need to use the restroom and have not eaten yet today because we don't get scheduled breaks. Don't forget that you also need to make sure that the clinic is clean and snacks are stocked. This petition is to help get each clinic, no matter how busy, at least at least one front desk and one medical assistant during the day. If you are tired of being at a clinic that is not appropriately staffed or tired of walking into a mess from the previous day because they didn't have the time to get to something, sign this petition and maybe we can make working enjoyable again.
