justice for the dogs, support animal control

63 dogs were seized from an unheated Bethlehem barn by animal control and the Connecticut Stae Police and the owner, Frederick Acker arrested for 63 counts of animal cruelty.  Dogs were in cages so small they could not stand up and move, curled up in a ball they were found lying on urine and feces covered newspapers, no water available, shivering in the 30 degree temperaue as wild blew thu the barn boards.  The civil portion of his trial resulted in Acker being awarded the reurn of the large dogs by a Litchfield, CT judge as and I quote the judge "the large dogs don't feel the cold as much as the smaller ones".  Not content, Acker is appealing the decision.
His criminal trial is in the preliminary stages.  in 2004 Acker was arrested operating under Animal Adoption Network and charged with 84 counts of animal cruelty which were bargained down. returing these dogs and keeping him in business is consigning the dogs to a life of misery.
