MORATORIUM ON BUILDING HIGH RISES IN WHITE ROCK

We, the undersigned, are concerned residents of White Rock and South
Surrey and call for a moratorium on building high rises (over four
storeys) in the City of White Rock until after the 14 high rises
already approved by Council have been completed. We urge the City of
White Rock to review the 2017 OCP, respect the input of the public,
this is overwhelmingly in opposition to approving any new high rises,
and provide a point-by-point comparison of the changes between the old
OCP (Bylaw 1837) and the new OCP (Bylaw 2220), along with details why
these changes were made. We believe that it is the paramount
responsibility of the City to preserve and protect the interests and
rights of the Community.
