Make Traffic Tickets Affordable!

- Traffic tickets in California can be several hundred dollars, or large portions of a family's income
- With other expenses to pay for such as food and housing, tickets often go unpaid which leads to a suspension/cancellation of one's drivers license
-This in turn limits one's abiltity to travel to work or run errands, hurting family prosperity
-A new law, SB 185, in the California legislature allows people to demonstrate to a judge inability to pay a ticket
- then the person could set up a long-term payment plan to pay off the ticket
- or the person could have the fine reduced
