It seems Lucasfilm may have listened to us! In the petition over a year ago we asked for 100 signatures to get Sykes actor Christian Simpson back for "productions like Rogue One"... We got almost double the desired signatures and guess who is now a credited actor in Rogue One? Christian Simpson himself! Thank you all 🚀 - Delores

With new Star Wars productions like "Rogue One" and "Rebels" on the way, now is the time to lobby for characters from Episodes 1-3 whose stories need to be told.
We wish to see pilot Gavyn Sykes (Bravo 6) return. Sykes was in a SW movie, 2 video games, & created Darth Vader. How? He destroyed the otherwise inpenetrable shields that allowed Anakin to obliterate that ship & its occupants, starting down the path to the dark side.
But more so, Lt. Sykes reappears as Capt. Sykes in Star Wars: Galaxies (promoted during Clone Wars according to the official mags), set after Ep4. But his whereabouts in the years between Ep3 & Ep4 are unknown. Seems perfect for projects that could show how Bravo 6 earned his "Captain" stripes, maybe as "Rogue 6" or such like.
Actor Christian Simpson who played Sykes doubled for Vader himself on Ep3 & is a voice actor in Ep7! I was lucky to meet him at Dragon-Con & he's gratiously remained in contact through which I've seen how dedicated he is. Whilst making Ep3 he kept a StarWars.com blog & has a new blog on Disney's site giving us a behind the scenes glimpse of SW movie making. It's that kind of devotion that I feel makes him deserving of any future Star Wars roles.
Star Wars has always been about continuity, patterns, & ever evolving circles. The Force binds the galaxy & its characters together. Disney, please let us see those rarer, canonical characters we already love.
