The Awesome Mormon's Secret Society of Awesomeness (AMSSA) was created to provide an online escape from the temptations of the world and a safe haven to all who wished to be a part of it. A place where anyone and everyone can feel safe and can build their faith and their testimonies. However, there are often many instances where this safe haven is plagued with contention and strife or conversations and posts that are objective to gospel teachings or offensive. We would like to see an improvement in these issues so that AMSSA can be a safe haven for all those who are welcomed into its folds.
"...And there shall be no disputations among you, as there have hitherto been; neither shall there be disputations among you concerning the points of my doctrine, as there have hitherto been. For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another." - 3 Nephi 11:28-29
