Citizenship & Immigration Canada deemed Jazmine (Talosig), Age 14, inadmissible to Canada because she is Deaf. She poses NO excess burden of the healthcare or school systems. In turn her Mother, who has been living in Canada for 7 years, fighting for Jazmine to get here, automatically becomes ineligible for Permanent Residency because the Child is not admissible.
A Letter from the GOVERNING School District Re-Confirms what the Government was already told in November 2014. Heather Hart, Assistant Superintendent, Burnaby School District issued reconfirmation, May 21, 2015 - NO ADDITIONAL FUNDING NEEDED!

WE DID IT!
Our MP, Joyce Murray’s office confirms they were advised that Manila was required (by the Canadian Office) to re-open Jazmine’s file, REVERSE the medical inadmissibility decision and that it cannot apply, and have the file move forward.
The only concern now is that this does not go back into a “normal” queue and could take months and months to get residency approved.
We ask that Minister Alexander keep the process moving quickly.

Our submission has just now been delivered to Minister Alexander & CIC Canada.
The BC Education Minister came through this week with full support of Jazmine's arrival with (again) no cost issue.
Keep spreading the word by sharing the story as it is clear Minister Alexander is choosing to not step up until enough of us tell him to do so, as our Public Servant, it's time to do what is right and serve with integrity!
