Stop using interns for cheap labour

All around the world internship programs have been the platform for graduates and unemployed youth to gain work experience and develop skills. however, this has lost it core function, interns are now being used to cover up for companies who do not want to recruit. The only way they can fill the vacant space is by interns to do the job of a permanent employee. I want the government to protect interns from being over worked and under paid if they are performing the tasks of a permanent person they must be compensated accordingly without the excuse of saying they do not have experience while they doing a job that is bringing value to the company.
