Stop Forcing Consumers to Pay for Utility Expenses!

The consumers of Florida Power and Light as well as Duke Energy have been forced to pay for "advanced costs" for nuclear power plants that will NEVER be built in the past. Now, these same utility companies want their customers to pay for Fracking costs incurred to explore and Frack for natural gas that the consumer would alo pay for as the end consumer. Fracking is risky business with little known about the chemicals used and their consequences to the land. Also, the end consumer should NOT have to finance the cost of both obtaining their natural gas on behalf of the same companies who would then sell the natural gas to their consumers at a profit.
