Tell Cameroon to take urgent action to end slaughter of elephants in Boubou Ndjida Nat'l Park.

In the five weeks, poachers from Sudan have been crossing through Chad and into Cameroon's national wildlife preserve, and have slaughtered over 200 elephants, and the massacre is ongoing. The International Union for Nature Conservatory states that activists have spotted the baby calves abandoned wandering through the park, and who are doomed to die from starvation and thirst.
     Experts report that this years killings have been "massive and unprecedented", and that the amount of ivory tusks seized this year has "been the worst on record" since 1989 when the ban on ivory sales began. The International Union for Nature Conservatory reported that as many as 3,000 elephants were slaughtered last year. If poaching levels don't spike down, Chad stands to loose its entire elephant population, a species that is already endangered.
