WE WILL NOT HAVE HISTORY REWRITTEN IN NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK

I am speaking for all the descendants of Ambroise Sicard ; one of the original settlers of New Rochelle :
Not quite sure what is going on but Robert Kraft said he would get more information for us . From what I understand one of the members of the Board of Education in New Rochelle, New York want the Word Huguenot stricken from the history of New Rochelle .
The history of New Rochelle cannot be rewritten ! Our ancestors were the original settlers and we need to stand up and be heard for their sake.
How could anyone possibly think they could strike the word Huguenot from the the history of New Rochelle .
The French Huguenots settled and shaped our city in its infancy . How dare a Johnny come lately think that they have the right to do this
WE NEED ALL THE SIGNATURES WE CAN GET TO PRESENT THIS TO THE BOARD AND TO SHOW WE WILL NOT SIT BACK AND BE COMPLACENT . Enough is enough !
